Questions and answers

1. What is SiReiki?

SiReiki is a unique healing system developed by Simon Clarke over more than 20 years. It blends Reiki, massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, sports techniques, sound healing and meditation into one integrated treatment for mind, body and emotional well‑being.

2. What can Reiki help with?

Reiki may support relaxation, stress reduction, emotional balance, pain relief, improved sleep, mental clarity and overall well‑being. Many clients with chronic conditions find it especially helpful.

3. Do you offer distance or remote Reiki?

Yes. Reiki works distantly, and you can receive healing from anywhere simply by relaxing and accepting the energy. This is included in the weekly World Healing Session every Sunday at 11 am. Remote one‑to‑one sessions are also available on request.

11. What happens if I cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice?

If you cancel with fewer than 24 hours’ notice, your payment cannot be refunded and you will need to rebook. If you cancel with 24 hours or more remaining, your payment is safe and you may rebook or request a refund (terms and conditions apply).

12. Is sports massage very painful?

Some techniques can be uncomfortable, but I use a variety of methods to limit pain and reduce recovery time while still achieving effective results. Most clients find the treatment a balanced mix of relaxing, therapeutic and occasionally intense — always tailored to your needs.

13. What should I do and expect after a session?

After any treatment, I recommend:

drinking plenty of clean water

resting and avoiding heavy lifting

eating normally (you may feel hungrier or thirstier)

allowing your body time to recover

You may feel tired, energised or experience mild detox symptoms such as a slight headache — this is normal and will pass. After a sports massage, you may feel tender for a couple of days. Avoid exercise until you feel fully recovered. Reiki may continue working with you for some time, so go gently and pace yourself. Emotional release is also normal — be kind to yourself as your body and mind process the healing.
